If your employer deducted your EPF share from salary but did not deposit, that is particularly serious because that money was your deduction and the employer held it. A default may affect your ability to withdraw/transfers of EPF later (if records are wrong) so addressing it early is wise. Keep all documentation safe: salary slips, emails, passbook screenshots, grievance submissions. These will help in any legal/official process. If you are switching jobs and your old employer defaulted, you should ensure the previous account is properly credited (or complaint lodged) before or during your transfer. Thanks for the post. However, please advise as to any options when all complaints are disposed off with "Contact Employer" even after escalating to the PF Commissioner. It seems that EPFO deliberately protects the malpracticing errent Employer emboldening them at the expense of the beleaguered employee and further contributes to their harassment. Thanks.
