We dont want police becoming inactive
While anger is focused on Police, the patterns in responses indicate they are acting under orders. From past experience of riots, I would say it is much more frightening when police becomes inactive, or disappears altogether, because that is when the city is handed over to mobs. more

Really strict action against rioters should have been taken by the UP Police to teach lesson to those rioters who were attacking on police and destroying the public property. more

It was perhaps for the first time that stone pelting on Police took place in most of the places during anti CAB agitation. This might have happened due to existing relationship between anti-social elements and irresponsible local "Netas". However, Police in uniform retaliating with stone on the mob was very unfortunate. Instead of retaliating with stone which indicated Police helplessness, it should have retaliated with Lathi charge, tear gas or even with bullets (Plastic or otherwise). more

I think Ms. Swati is completely influenced by some of the ideology of some party that is why she has the post out of ground realities. She must look the past record then she must come across some conclusion. more

Police are not becoming inactive, we guys are sleeping and letting the antisocial elements take the law in their hand and destroy the public properties and attacking the country from inside. more

The very intent of people attacking police is to make them inactive so that they can start taking law in their own hands and do things that will disrupt peace and harmony of nation and create situation in which majority will fear minority. The very purpose of gathering on Friday was to show their strength to other communities. They do not understand that if majority comes out on road then they will have hard times. God has given some grey matter to everyone. Request every person protesting to read the CAA before protesting. The protest is baseless and politically motivated. more
