Amazing story - very relevant to our times. Recently I heard a story about Singapore which is also a pluralistic society like ours - communal tensions are relatively unheard of. How Singapore manages it ? There people from different religions co-exist peacefully - apparently, the government encourages cross racial/ cross religion marriages so that people are sensitive to other religions and communal tensions do not flare up on trivial issues. Religious beliefs are very personal to oneself and ideally there should not be a need to bring these to the streets. Our belief in god almighty need to be strong enough such that we do not get maneuvered into acts of violence when we hear inciting 'call to action' speeches. We need to bring back faith in 'this universe is our family'. more
Dear members the big and root cause of INDIA is corruption. Corruption can not be solved by anyway until all human being are taking it as serious as diseases in our body. It should be deeply thought by all people where he is paid worker and home maker or politician/baboos. Everyone should be made responsible for their work and this would be only possible by strict compliance of laws. more
Simillar story and practice being followed perhaps in US also and someone had posted it or it was on tweets or News paper also. I do not remember exactly. But it is a wonderful idea for contributing to the welfare of poors. more
