Water Shortages

Why is The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) supplying 900 MGD (million gallons a day) of water, against demand of 1,200 MGD.

And how come tankers have water more than 300 mgd and tanker mafia is raking in the moolah??

Distressing situation Arvind Kejriwal. Please advise what to expect... How will u resolve this?? more

Politicians make comments and announcement to get political mileage not for resolving the actual problems most of the time. They should not be allowed by the public to derive political mileage for the comments and announcement but for the actual work done by them. Also it should be made mandatory to implement any freebies only after referendum in this respect and not by politicians out of theirs freewill to derive political mileage more

Customer satisfaction survey for a particular utility like Water, electricity, Health, Education etc. should be Carried out every year and findings made public by an independent agency. This will go a long way in improving public services all over India. more

Delhi Govt. has announced free travel for women only in DTC buses and metro keeping such problems in view so that water can also be fetched in safe manner from wherever it is available instead of depending only on water tankers. Govt. is providing free facility but with additional work. Thanks to our leaders liberal approach at the cost of tax-payers. Good gimmick to buy vote bank. It is said, we get what reap. more

I am not able to understand pricing policy of water. We get two different type of water A, Proper treated water B. Non treated tube well water. Why same price is charged for both type of water. The B type of water corrode the GI pipes faster the spoils the residential water pipe lies much faster. This needs serious attention. PRAKASH NARAYAN more
