Water management

Water Management
The water management in India is a great job and does not seem to have been taken up that seriously, only because we are more accustomed of wasting and polluting water. There must be a correct planning to conserve water and use it effectively. Water gets automatically recycled and the same water that is drained is useful for us. Therefore why not switchover to our ancient practice of water usage and assist the national water grid. Municipal water supply continues to be in order along with its development technologically as well as quality. The water resources as well as storages need to be aligned for modernization. Every pond, Talab, Sarover, cannels be linked and connected to water source for water flow to get natural detoxification. Also:-
1. Most of the people have water source like water well or boring and the pumps for lifting water. These can have small filter and purification plant on their terrace. Even a sand and coal filters made in the form of small tanks and then a UV for disinfection. Modern technology has awarded very good UV and RO plants. This way a large society can become self- dependent, supportive as far as water is concern. This was the practice in earlier days. Today well water is being used by residents at housing societies, hotels, public places for everything but not for drinking, but this water is contaminated and used by street food venders, Ice cream, ice making, marriage and parties, caterers bringing every one of us to danger.
2. The water purified can be sold to others by citizen.
3. A solar geyser compulsory on terrace.
4. Design of small Wind mill and a solar pumps at fields for lift irrigation.
5. Water was conserved beautifully by Israel with lift irrigation. We are sujalam safalam but unfortunate and irresponsible.
6. No visarjan anywhere even ASTHI AND ASH belonging to mahapurush and leaders.
7. Water storage linking through canals.
8. All water sources and storages taken over by central water board for maintenance, development, security, purification plants and the supply of water through local municipal authorities.
9. Water polluters drowned instead of idols.
10. Need to understand that the water is going to be costly day by day instead of becoming free due to irresponsible attitude of people. more

Very nice approach to attract the law makers for conservation of water. One thing I especially want to add in this context is that Central Govt should take initiative to engage skilled and talented Water Engineers, prepared at the cost of Govt money by Central University of Jharkhand to work in this field. more
