Warranty Extension due Covid 19
I request the consumer affairs or home affairs department to pass an Order where all manufacturers are required to give two months extended grace warranty on all products and services where the period of march 22-may 21 was in the warranty period.
For many products where warranty was expiring in april and if the customer called in march Nd april they were unable to avail of the repair or warranty replacement and now most companies are flat out denying and saying product out of warranty you need to pay. Same applies to free services of cars that come with car purchase.
LocalCircles please escalate this. Without intervention no manufacturer will budge more
As no one able to attend job/ work it is logical to extend the warranty to the extent of lock down period. more
I don't find any logic for extension of the warranty period. However, where complaints were lodged, but the service engineer could not visit due to lock down, in such cases the warranty could be extended for a reasonable period. more
Mr Ramachandran, FYI my complaint is for sub- standard product & that is why the customer care details are printed on each bottle. Hope u have become wiser now. As regards their website I must accept that I didn’t check that. By the way their brewery is working & production is in full swing now. more
In NOIDA did they allow to move around town during lockdown period? Have you seen how the Police treated them. And which Service Provider? Did you go to your office or business center during the lock down? more
I have one LG Split AC. It's waranty ends on 21st April 2020. I also contacted, they are saying you need to pay. Please do the needful.
