Vigilance enquiry must get to the bottom
A vigilance enquiry is likely to impact many more builders in Noida. This is need of the hours. All the builders who deal in black money must pay due taxes. All Govt officials who took bribes from these builders must be booked and if all of this leads to certain citizens who paid price of flats to builders in black even they should be questioned about source and if found guilty pay taxes. But with all this gain the Govt must reduce taxes for those who are going by the rule book.

Yes I agree and would like to add here is that not only the big builders but the government should track all the small builders as well as they are also big time tax defaulters. more

With the election being round the corner in U.P., it is unlikely that it would be taking more action than it has already taken against the builders. The U.P. Govt. had to take action in the impugned case because of a complaint with solid evidence and Supreme Court remarks. For taking action against all builders, Govt. would need hard evidence against each one of them or make a committee to look into all transactions between the builders and the Noida authority from the days Noida authority started allotting land to them . There would be hardly any builders who could claim himself to be clean and above board in his dealings. more
