Views on current reservation demands

It's really too shameful for us that even such a rich and affluent castes like 'Patel' are fighting like terrorists for reservation!! If such kind of cheap and dirty politics of caste system continues in the same manner then very soon Brahmins, Kshatriyas and other castes also will come on road and disturb the public life and start fighting for reservation!!
Truly I wonder now that don't we have general castes in our country!! Is this the effect of slavery and British subjugation that we all feel that we are backward!! People are so much swayed by their foolish emotions that now they don't aspire to be forward but try to get into the category of backwards. Is this the meaning of 'Democracy' and 'Independence'? Which kind of progress and development does this trend shows??
I always felt that we Indians must be very proud of our rich culture and heritage and should have lot of self esteem, pride, dignity and honour of being oneself but such kind of activities combined with malafide intentions really bring lot of disgrace and disrepute to our Mother India at international platform!!
I wish and hope for prosperity and well being of all Indians but not in this manner!! more

KINDLY LET US NOT DIVERSIFY OUR MIND TOWARDS CRITICISM LEAVING CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISIONS LIKE UNIFORM CIVIL CODE ; EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES APPLYING ONLY THE SYSTEM OF ADDRESSING THE ECONOMICALLY BACKWARDNESS . more
Reservation on basis of caste to be abolished and reservation on the basis of income to be introduced. Every individual should have a PAN card. Even non taxable income group should file nil return. Income tax return should be filed along with asset and liability statement also. This should be the criterion of income and total assets held by him. Nowadays non taxable income group of citizens can get an income certificate from village officer by bribing. This system should stop. Reservation should be on the basis of the Income Tax Return and Asset and Liability Statement filed by him. more
Reservation are only good in trains not in social systems. other wise the deserving persons will suffer and ultimately the Country will suffer. so reservation should be lifted. more
By going through the Gujarat situation, it is high time to modify the present reservation system. The present reservation system benefit to those who have influence and political back ground. Though the reservation system introduced for the SC/ST category how many of them got benefit out of this quota. The person already in sound financial set up is getting further reservation. Now the entire reservation quota should be cancelled and must be modified. It is high time to keep the reservation purely on the basis of family income irrespective of caste and religion. Basic concept must be the family income. On this the reservation can be upgraded up to 50% and with this the number of poor and eligible people get benefited. When we go through the present reservation system, the SC/ST and back ward class people are in the same path as they were before 65 years. What is the purpose keeping these type of reservation. By keeping the family income criteria no one can supersede to other and corruption to the minimum level can be controlled. The Government should immediately look in to these area and may be modified, other wise there may be some other caste and religion will come up and fight for reservation for their caste and religion. This can be avoided suitably modifying the family income criteria Thanks more
Well, this is the outcome of Dirty Vote-bank Politics...Nobody is interested in "Developed India"...Corrupt & Criminal Politicians want to keep this public uncouth/illiterate/backward by Glorifying "...RESERVATION" ...Let the entire System become Corrupt & Substandard by Reservation in 'Education,Employment,Promotion,Postings etc...Unless we "ABOLISH RESERVATION" and switch to "PRESIDENTIAL FORM of Governance(USA)"...there is NO SOLUTION !!! more
