Very very unfair trade practices.

On 25th Feb ,after returning from Ranchi at Calcutta airport I booked at Uber finding that Ubergo is available at 3 minutes distance, after booking it showed that is 17 minutes away. after waiting for 7-8 minutes when contacted the cab driver , he infored that he is dropping his passenger near Dumdum and will be reaching me within 20 minutes time. Being frustrated I cancelled the trip. I once again booked ubergo which is available within 2 minutes time but after booking it showed it will reach me by 17 minutes. I had to immediately cancel and had to book pre paid taxi to return home. In every cancellation it showed that it will be charged . I wounder whether uber is manipulating software to misguiding passenger to book finding it availability within reasonable time and then cancel it after finding a long waiting time. These should be looked into to avoid mental and financial harassment to the customers. more  

Attention of Uber can be drawn through their Help option. It is really effective. On several occasions, their system billed me wrongly and on my approach Uber refunded me the excess charge. more

After booking the driver informed that it would take him 20 minutes. If you cancel cancellation fees would be levied and if you dont your flight will get missed. It is a catch 22 situation. more

This is a common practice by Uber and Ola. In addition to their such tricks we face other problems as well. Even for the small distances, where the normal yellow taxi fare would have been say; Rs 50/-, these taxis charge nothing less than Rs 150 to Rs 250. We need to have a system of getting taxis at standard rationalized p[rices. more  
Once at Dalhousie at 5 pm my über booking was responded by a cab at Salt Lake!! I had to cancel-resulting about ₹80 for cancellation. I removed UBER app immediately—now using other services. more  
Authority shoild take immediate action more
