Uttar Pradesh worst on piped water connections

Not sure how people are responding to LocalCircles on the rating of UP govt in supplying water to homes but the reality is attached for all of you. UP is worst in India in terms of providing piped tap water to rural homes. And UP is a lot of rural homes. So refer this before u say lots of improvement more

Actual the most of things are depend on the citizen of state . What type of govt they voted the same result they get in shape of development. Look at the past of govt of UP we have 0 result oriented govt in past. So yogi govt doing much better but as we say Rome can not be built in a day. more

Comparing Goa and UP in tap water supply to the rural hosehold makes no sence. GOA is very small state with a little difference in rural and urban areas. With 100 % growth in Goa number of rural house having benefitted may be less than the number of rural hoses benefited in UP with 10% growth. more

I understand that the improvement in UP in present govt need to be compared wrt that in earlier Govts ...... and in that respect present UP Govt has done a lot of improvements ( on many fronts including Law and Order , Covid Management , Primary education etc ) . Since our college days in 1980s we heard that "if UP and Bihar is removed from India then many problems faced by India would be solved " . UP is slowly but surely coming out of that laggard Tag . By the way , I am not in any Govt service and hence have no obligation to appease any Govt . more

I am sure there is no hidden agenda behind this.....Tamilnadu was rated best in handling 2nd wave...udhav Thackeray in the list of most popular CMS....surprising....at least to me more

Percentages can be misleading ... here it will be more apt to see the actual numbers of households who had access to piped water in 2019 and today. Mercedes growing at 100% year on year for next ten years (gross sales of ten years) will not be able to match Maruti's one year sales, decreasing over past two years !!! more
