DESPITE TALL TALKS OF MASSIVE COMPUTERISATION & E-GOVERNANCE ETC; DEARNESS ALLOWANCES ARE NEVER PAID TO THE RETIRED & WORKING GOVT EMPLOYEES ON JANUARY 1 & JULY 1. THE HIGHLY EDUCATED GOVT EMPLOYEES ARE SO MUCH AFRAID THAT VERY FEW GOVT EMPLOYEES HAVE SUBMITTED THEIR VIEWS TO THE 7TH PAY COMMISSION. THE LAST DATE IS MAY 31, 2014. Mr. Panicker, those were interesting suggestions. In short, as you have also suggester: whats required is a govt. services tracking system. An online interface to govt. functionaries and one should be able to track delivery of services. This will bring a lot of transparency in the functioning of the Govt. Going by the feel of it, I'm sure, if one can build a prototype and present it to Modiji, it will surely be accepted. I will be more than happy to collaborate with my views and contributions if there is a group which is already working towards it. PPS: The goal has to be achieved in a step by step manner and those steps that can be most useful should be taken up first. So, delivery of services/ bringing in transparency in govt. services is something we can right away start off. PPPS: I'm in if anybody is taking up this project. I can contribute with my architect and programming skills. PS: I had written something similar to AAP during its nascent stages (just when it was formed soon after the Anna movement, before Kejriwal ran away from his responsibilities). I got a luke warm response, they didn't seem to be interested in taking it further. more
I'm Software professional having 11 years of experience and trying to establish a company but due to financial issues, two of my ventures, I've planned, arr yet to be launched. My motive is simple, i want every office paperless with go green motto. Other objective is to share my experience wit all those who wants to make independent career. If i get Finance for my two projects i would like to help all those who wants to set up their own business and contribute in growth of our country. As i'm trying hard to get some finance for the setup for my big venture, i will open training center for upcoming talents and motivates them to learn for career not only just for education and sit at home..My projects and plans are ready...i m searching a good marketing team and setup. Now I hope Modiji will provide better opportunity to IT sector and help to build up self employment opportunity. more
Good thoughts Gopakumar. I wish Modi ji - who seems to be having an inclination towards using technology, social media etc... to reach out to public during campaign is well aware of the tremendous strength and rich transparency that a solid IT infrastructure can provide to the citizens of India. The foremost thing would be, it will resist the flourishing corruption in our country. I am personally willing to give my time for such an effort (if called for ;) without any expectations in return. more
