URGENT REFORMS REQUIRED

> 1. No Tenure / No Pension: Parliamentarians collect a salary while in office but should not receive any pay when they're out of office. How can they get pension after 5 years of service when even in Army they need to put thrice as much for minimum pension n 20 years for full pension

> 2. Parliamentarians should purchase their own Retirement Plans, just as all Indians do.

> 3. Parliamentarians should no longer vote themselves a Pay Raise. Their pay should be linked to the CPI or 3%, whichever is lower.

> 4. Parliamentarians should lose their current health care system and participate in the same health care system as the Indian people. They are getting not only getting all concessions viz. free travel, ration, electricity, water, phone bill etc. Even then, they need Salary and Pension? Is it not shame on their part. On what basis do they ask? Bold Shamelessness...

> 5. Parliamentarians with Tainted Records, Criminal Charges & Convictions, past or present should be summarily banned from the parliament and fighting Election on any pretext or the other.

> 6. Parliamentarians should equally abide by all laws they impose on the Indian people.

> 7. All contracts with past and present Parliamentarians should be void.

> 8. Retirement age should be 60 for politicians too. The Indian people did not make this contract with them. Parliamentarians made all these contracts for themselves.

>9. Serving in Parliament is an honor, not a lucrative career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

>10. No surrender of subsidies like LPG by citizens unless all subsidies available to MPs and MLAs withdrawn including highly subsidised food in Parliament canteen. more

Both Sri Subhash & Subba Rao are really correct if the issue of public administration that side tracked is thought . Taking the names of the Castes , Criticising as if they are anti national in the very Constituent Assembly ; those to be cleared as if the dust in Shelfs ; THE ALL POLITICIANS ARE STILL HANGING ON THE MAJOR VOTE BANK OF CASTECISM . It is piety , the Supreme Court though number of times tried and directed , the ill-full Political Congress did not take up the III rd decade itself . The issue of Morality though appears in disciplinary intelligence Reports was totally set off in public administration and Business Sector since these 3 decades and has been well known to all . THIS ISSUE IS ONLY THE ROOT CAUSE OF ALL PRESENT NATIONAL AND SOCIAL ILLS AND EVILS THOSE ARE SUCKING AWAY THE BLOOD OF THE EVEN POOR CITIZEN . more
Agreed with Mr.Pande's views, but more necessity of the hour to teach the lesson of morality to all the categories of citizens according to their choice of priority. Either we should connect all moral things, feelings with the stomach, means with their earning capacity.Make all basic moral activities comploustry for all citizen of India,to get the positive results we should start from home seriously with some hard yardsticks. more
It is time that caste and religion are pushed to back benches and made to disappear from the records and minds. If this is not made to happen, then India has no future in the real sense of that word. Also in the present times I fully agree with Mohit pande's observations. Prof. Kalluri S Rao more
I fully agree with Mr Mohit Pande's views more
Sri Mohit Pande is absolutely and appropriately correct and his findings and arguments are really to be legitimately addressed for the requisite reformation and for formulation of new regulations particularly matching and comparing the Statistics of 2011 on Economy of Citizen . Political Democracy is not to be at its own will and autocracy and need comparision with the civic livelyhood carried by them . more
