Update and Seeking your Views on Ministry/Department circles

Friends:

If you have recently joined us, welcome.

Everyone may please note that their inputs is required on the two discussions under progress:

1) Discussion 3 - Solutions to Fight Corruption
2) Discussion 4 - Identifying issues of Price Rise/Inflation

Please look for the two posts from Shri Rajendra Pratap Gupta and submit your inputs as comments to these posts by End of Day today, June 16.

Early on, some of you had suggested that a circle be started for every Ministry/Department allowing people to provide feedback into policy and for Ministry to seek inputs, know about key issues.

Please advise what Ministry circles would be a high priority and how so we can take up the subject with the associated Ministers in the Government.

Please provide your inputs by Wednesday, June 18th.

Thanks for your participation! more

Identifying issues of Price Rise/Inflation -- If the government can plan for the reduction in the supply chain by opening up decentralized centers for supply of food items at a local level for each state and geographic area, then the major factor in price rise can be curbed. for eg. if the government can plan to encourage decentralized poultry farms for a defined area and the region for distribution area then there can be a reduction in the transportation cost. more
All members may provide their inputs on Ministry and Department level circles and their priorities. Accordingly, those Ministries and Departments would be invited to start and build a circle. more
Please start a discussion on the electoral reforms process to highlight the need for internal democracy in political parties, abolishing father-son-daughter-looter parties from contesting. We want a strong government, not a coalition of motley parties with nothing but their own self interest at heart. We do not want Rahul Gandhi or some other idiot thrust on us through unprincipled coalitions like the UPA again. Not we want criminals to represent us. We deserve better than that. more
The day Mrs Indira Gandhi declared emergency, every body started falling in line because of the fear of punishment. Thus corruption can be eradicated in a day if the government decides so and follows it up meticulously. more
