UP RERA diluting the purpose of RERA
The catagory of unregistered builders are still fleecing the public just because Rera has not taken action against them though as per law, all builders should be registered. Rera has been taking up cases of registered builders giving a back seat to cases against unregistered builders. We must put a stop to unregistered builders still not giving to the apartment owners what they have promised. more

Similar is the case for Omaxe sangam city who included more than 500crores of public and now they have stopped replying by email or phone and sending gossips to public that nothing to returned even if case is filed in court. I tried to complain via rera website but company is not even showing in listed registry hence no complain and therefore no refund of money. With that money omaxe is building houses at repeat locations. more

Late Mr Uppal, the builder of Senior Citizen Society has done exactly same way, firstly by giving false promises thru printed brochure and verbally also fleecing public since 1998. It was granted a big land at a highly discounted price in Greater Noida for making flats for senior citizens. 844 flats made, collected money and siphoned the whole money, did not even pay due income tax, was raided, society community halls sealed, RWA court case continued and I think still continuing, I am one of the original allottee and bearing all this. The Builder expired, his spouse is claiming to be the owner, without taking any initiative for registration. Instead of taking action against the builder and un-earthing the siphoned money, the Authority is threatening allottees of penalty and action for non-registree. Actually, all original allottees were / are always interested to get the registree done but it is the connivance of authority with builder which stops the registering process, giving a huge loss to the Government. Many allottees have already expired, awaiting the registree of their flat. No one knows what will be the result. The UP Govt must come with some proposal to register flats of these societies, where registration is pending. regards, Chandrakant Saxena more

UP-RERA IS TAKING THE HELP OF NATURAL JUSTICE BECAUSE MORE PERCENTAGE OF OFFICIALS ARE LINKED WITH THE FOUL PRACTICES OF BUILDERS AND THEY ARE SO DEEP ROUTED THAT IT IS NOT SO EASY TO DEROUTE THEM. ALSO THE MALIGN BUILDERS ARE TAKING THE ADVANTAGE OF FLEXIBILITY OF INDIAN LAWS. THE ONLY WAY IS TO "UNITE AND FIGHT". UNITY IS FAR AWAY FROM US NOT BECAUSE THAT WE DON'T WANT BUT BECAUSE WE ARE SCATTERED DIFFERENT PARTS OF OUR COUNTRY DUE TO OUR PERSONAL REASONS ALSO THE CASES ARE PENDING SINCE MORE THAN A YEAR IN SPITE OF RERA GUIDE LINES TO RESOLVE THEM IN A PERIOD OF 60 DAYS. THE ORDERS THEY PASS IS NOT DISCLOSED IMMEDIATELY RATHER IT IS RESERVED FOR WHAT NOT KNOWN TO ANY COMPLAINANT. more
