Night curfew alone is unlikely to be effective against the spread of virus. To start with, immediately restrictions like in Maharashtra should be enforced in places like Noida. Places like mandis, wholesale markets, bus stands, offices areas etc should have volunteers or observers who could ensure distancing and masking. Any shopkeeper entertaining a customer who is not observing Covid protocol should be fined. Posting of Police at a time (early morning or hot sun) and places where there is hardly any gathering or crowding is unlikely to make any significance gain. more

Night curfew not working effectively. Total lockdown for at least 3 weeks. Activities like Kumbh, etc. totally banned. more

Non manufacturing activities must be shifted to home. Public cooperation and discipline is must. Limited lock down for few days, it will delay the peak. If people movement start at large scale, it will increase cases town/village side because people are getting infected in travel in large number. more
