UP govt order - No mobile in covid hospitals
Can someone from UP Govt or their medical experts please explain the reason to ban mobile phones of patients in covid-19 hospitals.
Order attached says its being done as mobile helps spread. This is just bogus without basis.
If a patient is using mobile to talk to his/her family covid19 cannot spread.
Is UP govt scared about someone taking pictures of hospital conditions and state of affairs and the Govt doesnt want that out, thats a more valid reason to ban. But, just be honest about it. more

Anushka ji please update yourself as this order has been withdrawn by UP Gov and now Corona patients can have mobile phones in hospital. No doubt when you are keeping so much safety and precautions to stop the spread of COVID19 and every agency is warning to sanitize each belonging you carry then how can a patient or his attending medical staff be safe from spread through mobile phone when used by corona patient? So it was a right decision of UP Gov to not use mobile in hospital by an corona infected patient but due to unreasonable pressure from people like minded you gov has to withdraw this order. more
