When everything is going down UP Govt is increasing power tarrifs by 12%.
It will increase cost for consumers and lead to increase in price of various services including restaurants movies and household costs.
Smes and exporters will also get hit. In this market one cant ask 12% more from customers indian or foreign

Rightly said...."Weaker is always Punishable".It is Fate of Honest Consumer of UPSEB instead of taking action to Stop Distribution Loss, increase of Tariff is implemented on UP residents.It will definitely increase the Cost of EVERY THING in the time of Crisis of Economy.UP Govt. should reconsider and postpone till recovery of Economy. more

The Electricity Department is adopting all means to increase their revenue : 1. Stopped Solar Net Metering Policy for Commercial and Industrial, 2. Ask for a security deposit of 45 days of their average electricity bill, 3. Now increase in tariff. Our industry will definitely not able to compete with industry of other state as expenses on electricity bill is too high.Other State industry has option to purchase electricity from private DISCOM also, here its all monoply. more

Not only charges , deparment also issued Demand notice for additional security for financial year 2019-20, yesterday myself received a demand notice for additional security of Rs3966 & paisa 77 only, although always from last 20yrs every month payment of electricity being deposited by me The reason for additional security is simply an action for increasing revenue from good consuumer , on the otherside the defaulter debts increasing day by day Is it the good governance of U.P. Govt. more
