Unlocking the lockdown
I received the attached update of covid-19 on UP last night that I think all residents should go through.
Also heard that the CM is asking MLAs their suggestions on how to open the lockdown in phased approach.
I suggest along with MLAs u also ask people and most importantly the businesses. They are the ones that keep the economic engine going. Its not the Government.
We just cant afford a mess up with this. If everyone gives input I will compile them. more

Shoot at site or heavy penalty in lakhs must be imposed against those found violating lockdown till 14th april. more

I think total lockdown till 14th April should be followed strictly and all of us should show some more patience till the time we get some positive response that the covid cases has started reducing. As far as lifting the lockdown is concerned,the places like malls,community centres,cinemas,public parks and all such places where a large crowd can gather and social distancing is difficult should remain closed till everything is normal. Businesses are the backbone of an economy but value of life is more than anything in this world. So patience is the only way. more

No relaxation may be given till the completion of National level Lock down upto 14 th Apr 20. At that point we may have a thorough analysis of COVID data statistics /trends . Based on the positive encouraging trend we may gradually lift off lock down in a phased and prioritized manner , starting with essential services , but with a cautious approach with proper review at every stage. We can not allow relative advantage we have achieved so far over other big Nations to loose and go haywire with hasty populistic decisions. In case we have Negative trend we must be ready to continue for some more time of total lock down even we have to go thru tougher time specially for poor people. As a country we can not afford a total break down like Italy /Spain or even like USA. more
