Even Small hotel owners, Guest Houses and OYO rooms insist on cash and never give bill, how is this tackled in GST regime, i think nothing has been done about this till date more  

I bought a toy for my grand son. The shopkeeper did not give me bill and insisted for cash payment. When asked about GST, he informed that there is no GST on toys ( Doodle board). more

Is this the isolatory case? No certainly not. In each & every nook & corner you would find the business going on either without bill or giving estimate memo or giving the quotation form. Go & see after making complaint to the appropriate authorities what & when the action is taken? You only will get fed up & will say let it go on & why should you bother unnecessarily. The thing is that rather than simplifying the process of tax collection if it is made too complicated or too clumsy then people will find one or the other way to escape all types of Government hassles. Let us not forget these Hera Feri minded people's brain works 1000 times faster than the Government's machinery & so if govt. feels that they have done excellent job of introducing GST then they should get the results 1/1000 times what they had thought to obtain. This is bad to feel but unfortunately is the reality. more
