TRAI regulations-are they aganist Broadcasting-Educational channels of Government of India.closed???

Under the universal education, and availability of access to information, education, technology etc,GOVERNMENT have created several Channels for teaching-learning even for class students.
These are universally accepted guidelines, under UN-SDGs,UNESCO and under GAPMIL also, which we adovacate as a free society and adopt same.
We are sure these channels are still to air,and cable operators and other DTH operators are bound to telecast them freely for the Rs130/- they charge.
Why is it not happening.WHO OVERSEEAS IT more

Sir,We are in a world, where eduaction and acess to technology and Education shall be as much free as possible.Governments are encouraged to keep all scholarly books,in digital form accessable to all.
The library in universities, and most of the resident colleges also carry a TV,with education channels, which are not less than 50 nos.
TRAI-definitely has not asked for stoppage of relay, and so the governments have not closed these channels.
But it is some buracrats ; more
I believe all Government broadcast is done on DD channels and all DD channels are available in the Free to AIR 100 channels in Rs. 130 package.

As per TRAI order DD channels are mandatorily given to all subscribers by all service providers. Even the subscriber does not have an option to delete them.

If their is other content available which is not broadcast on DD channels. Then it is the decision of the channel broadcaster whether to provide it in the Free to Air Bouquet or not. If it is part of Free to Air Bouquet then the customer can include it in his 100 free channels. more
But check your self on your TV,there are about 50 education channels-ISRO-CBSE-UGC-CSIR,industry,ministry of education sponsered on various subjects. more
I agree to the suggestion made by Virendra Kumar. Also raise the issue on social media platform like FaceBook, Twitter, etc. Follow-up on the matter can bring desired results. more
