TREATED ECZEMA BUT NOT CANCER !

GST COUNCIL TREATED ECZEMA BUT LEFT OUT CANCER !
The recently met GST Council addressed the issues of exporters, traders,FMCG etc but left out the terrible condition of Flat buyers who booked their flats before 1July2017 !
The reviews, steps & amendments are good but this looks so callus because the flat buyers were mercilessly neglected !
This is like treating the eczema of a hand but not the cancer of another hand !!
The council spent time to bring down GST from 12% to 5% or 18% to 12% or so thus for a consumer of Rs.100 item who was purchasing it at say Rs.112 will now get it at Rs.105 thus a relief of Rs.5 and for this he/she will not go to any Consumer court as he/she automatically gets this benefit,BUT BUT BUT...
BUT.........the Flat buyers will have to go to the court and fight against the mighty builders putting the flats in abeyance in order to get the benefits of 'Input Tax Credit' on a flat of Rs.50 Lakh or so !
Bizarre ! Attention to Rs.100 but brutal indifference to Rs.50 Lakh !!
(GST@12% on a Rs.50Lakh flat is now Rs.6Lakh thus addressing Rs.5 or Rs7 but neglecting Rs.6Lakh !)
Why didn't the council simply make it mandatory to pass on the input tax credit automatically to the buyers exactly the amount the poor buyers are now being forced by the builders to pay GST@12% on under-construction flats?
Why the govt is pushing the builder-buyer to the boxing ring to punch each other and decide ?! more

Demonetisation and GST are only the two steps of BJP-Modi govt. and both are bringing the height of development two steps down. Central govt. seems to be forgetting that India has state govts. also and they are more close to public for daily needs rather see the streets from the central satellites and decide: Mountain or pit, with wrong numbered specs of finance minister. Why centre invades small needs of indirect taxes as it is source of funds for state govts. only, not for BJP election funds. Why govt. forgets that they promise ENERGY ,JOBS,DEVELOPMENT TO MATCH WITH RICH NATIONS..!GST of 2% tax will help this or form a broad system under national constitutional provisions? Law allows property rights to individuals,on national basis only;that is one-for-one ,not one in every street of every town for rich grabbers? Why govt. overlooks heaps of money, but sieves for small poor indirect taxes from repenting public? pl. BE HONEST,CHARGE FOR CAPAITAL ASSETS,NOT FOR DAILY FOODS . Poor need RIGHTS,NOT ALMS,LIKE PM feels to distrubute. more
Implementation is very easy,if determined. Now,every body has UID no. and address-VERY IMPORTANT.So,allow one residential house of the size and value matching to his incometax returns/income disclosed from business,av. of last 5-10 years.Rest everything is ASSET IN OTHER ADDRESSES AND JUST CHARGE 1% ASSET NATIONAL TAX of bank loan value of property;as you know the link of bank a/c and UID. more
we are ina democracy where govts. are made bypolitical parties which come to rule by majority numbers only, not FDs in business. It is easy to woo poor votes,as just give them Prasad of mandir, and they will vote and rally for govts. politicians and Our PM deserves a doctorate in that. He agrees,he is vote catcher, not national king .Public should earn for itself,as I earned for myself, all alone. more
When natural justice does not come in, the next action is to knock at the court to get justice. For builder, it is obligatory to offer Input Tax Credit to each under-construction flat buyer the share of all construction materials purchased after 01/07/17, if not, it must be brought under notice of RERA state commissioner and if no action is taken within a reasonable time, next course is reaching court. more
When a financial bill is passed, all transactions are covered in that. For booking of flat earlier to 01/07/17, there is no GST for amount paid upto 30/06/17. However for any additional payment made after 01/07/17 for under construction flat there is both Input Tax Credit & 12% GST. On 12/10/17, I find in media that FM is seriously thinking of withdrawing 12% GST imposed for real estate. Otherwise, construction has already came to a halt. Let's hope that in November GST meeting it will be considered. more
But what about the flats purchased before 1July2017 Sir ?? more
It is such a sorry state of govt policies that consumers of all hues are the worst treated, whether it is the charge of taxes on sales, quality standards, tagged selling, or 'buy two, get one free', or, selling of food and packaged commodities on the highways. Consumers are being crushed and not listened to their hue and cry. The present policies are pro business and capitalists. GST is the most failed policy. VAT was much better and easier when delivered with "set off" value. more
