Transfer of EPF Balance in inoperative account

My son was working in AKAMAI Technologies,Salarpuria Softzone during Jan- May 2009.
Since then he has shifted to another firm. But he could not get the EPF balance
in his AKAMAI period transfered to his present EPF account, for want of his correct PF account number with Akamai. The account number given by the firm in the payslip was not tallying with those in EPF, Bommanandra, BGL records.

He had already submitted a claim online with claim NO:15021011641 in response to EPF organisation's paper reports to help in settling inoperative accounts. He had also sent an email to
Regiononal Provident Fund Commissioner ,Bangalore on 28th February 2015 and on 23rd April 15.

I do not think it is very difficult for the EPF office ,Bommasandra to trace the account since the period of employment ,correct address of the company and copy of the payslip has been made available to them. In spite of the new initiatives whether they are really interested in settling these amounts is another thing. more  

Please use the inoperative helpdesk and also raise a grievance ticket in EPFIGMS (grievance handling system)ON THE HOME PAGE OF EPFO more  
I had changed my organization in 2011 and asked for EPF transfer. When it didnt get done for several months, I also repeatedly visited the EPFO. This continued for a year. I wrote complaints at all levels, but there was no action. Eventually in 2013, I gave up and put in an application to withdraw all the EPF. This was executed by EPFO within a month. This seems to be government's trick to reduce their interest burden. They want people to get frustrated and withdraw the money. more  
First you can lodge a complain in Then while sending email to Regioanl PF commisioner you can copy to; Hope this will help and the progress may be faster. more  
You please lodge grievance in '' site Home page under employee services with full details about your application , organisation address and PF number etc, then the PF authorities respond promptly. more
