Transfer amount not visible in UAN Passbook

I had a pf account in company A which I left 2.5 yrs back and joined company B(present) company.I requested transfer of pf amount via old process(manual) which my present company facilitated. When I checked the transfer status, I got to know that my PF account is settled. I checked my UAN account passbook and also requested pf balance but none of them shows my previous pf account balance.I raised 3 grievances but response was same that "your old account is settled.please contact uan helpdesk for balance". I tried 100 times to reach helpdesk via mail and phone but no one responded.I am clueless now, whom to reach and what to do. Both of my PF account is in same PF office(Bandra, Maharashtra). more

All, I raised grievance with pgportal and dpg portal and got their response within 3 days. My present company goofed up my details and provided my someone else's PF number and they need to correctly link it my employee records now. Thanks for everyone. more
Transfer formats are always to be sent through the new employer only. However, probably you can do it online if you have been allotted an UAN number and PF A/c No. at new establishment. Please go through EPFO web site for further details. more
That's good. You got your money transferred to your new account, send a thanking giving mail to EPF Office this will encourage officials working there. more
I will suggest one more thing before you go to Central Cabinet Grievance Committee or consumer forum. This will help your care stronger in these suggested places as well. File an RTi with following attachments: 1. Your status of settlement 2. Your account statement of both previous and present 3. Responses of your grievances 4. Proof of emails sent to RPFC Now ask following questions : 1. Where is your money 2. How can you get this reflected in your new/present account 3. Reasons for the discrepancy 4. Who is responsible for this discrepancy. To the best of my knowledge, they will settle things and then reply you. If reply to this RTI is also fruitless, the suggested needs to be done with this additional proof of RTI making your case stronger. more
can I get my EPF transfered without the approval of the employer? more
