Traffic chaos in Hyderabad -lacunae

Sir its both ways.. Police and commuters too.. Foot overbridge & Zebra crossings --------------------------------------- -- There should be foot over bridges which are not built and people cross roads like herds. Not peoples mistake when there is no foot over bridges they will do it.. Why it Govt so reluctant in doing so. Aren't they bothered about pedestrians? Left & Right Turnings ----------------------- -- we have seen that traffic guys just keep one small left turn without proper dividers. Result commuters will goto the extreme right and then take the left turn or vice versa. They should create dividers half km ahead and half km post the turning so that no one can use shortcuts. Check the Miyapur stretch just after JNTU.. There is hell lot of traffic just because of improper planned right turn Wrong sides Driving ---------------------- -- Commuters go on wrong side and they fight with us as if we did something wrong. Police can't be present everywhere I agree but I think spikes can be installed which will work only one one side like in Pune its done. Now let them go wrong side. Those should be installed exactly at the turnings where there is scope of wrong ways Signal Jumping ---------------- Rather than traffic guys checking the pollution and RC if they catch the signal jump guys govt can make more money. Let them catch 2-3 guys randomly Rash driving & dangerous drivings --------------------------------- My suggestion take the bike/car. Impose a challan of 200/- and ask them to pay 50/- in eseva each day in all corner of the city and hand over the receipt by afternoon 12PM. This will make those guys realize their mistake. It will take 4 days to pay the 200/- fine and they will have to apply leave in office too. They will have to answer their office and colleagues which will be a real embarrassment for them. If they don't turn up let the fine keep increasing everyday by 1000/- Unnecessary Honking ------------------------- The traffic guys should immediately issue fine to the guys who keeps honking at the signals and on roads. They should keep a check on the vehicle honks to see if its in limit or not. If not they should fine and remove those honks immediately. AND ONE MORE REQUEST IS TO IMPOSE PILLION RIDE HELMET TOO. ITS RIDICULOUS TO SEE THAT ONLY THE DRIVER IS SUGGESTED TO WEAR HELMET. WHEREAS WE HAVE SEEN MOSTLY PILLION RIDERS WHO DIE IN ACCIDENT. Lets make our city a safe drive city. DRIVE SAFE! BE SAFE more

It's the people's attitude that matters. One of the worst cities and its people that they don't even bother to check for sides will coming onto roads from their houses or while taking turns, the list is endless cannot be explained in few words. But the police, courts are hell bent on imposing their own laws, when actually they are killing the families directly by some or other means especially the wine mania. more
