TRAFFIC-BARRIERS BY DELHI POLICE

THANKS TO DELHI POLICE . I HAVE OBSERVED THAT WHEN EVER DELHI POLICE FEELS THREAT THEIR FIRST STEP IS TO PUT THE BARRIERS WHICH RESULT IN TRAFFIC JAM PARTICULARLY DURING OFFICE HOURS AS A RESULT
A) DISRUPTION IN NORMAL TRAFFIC FLOW.
B) POLLUTION/ SMOKE INCREASES
C) PEOPLE PARTICULARLY 2 WHEELER/ BUSES START BEHAVING ERRATICALLY .
D) SOMETIME WHEN YOU REACH NEAR BARRIER THEIR IS NO POLICEMAN MANNING THERE IT IS A SELF-MANNED BARRIER.
DELHI POLICE IS GOING WITH THIS PRACTICE SINCE LONG HAS THEY EVER ANALYSED BENEFIT OF BARRIER =/ ROAD-USER DISCOMFORT. more

Most of the time barigates are placed within 200mts. which creates heavy jam for example on najafghar road one barrier before raja garden red light and one just after red light more

I would like to add here that at night police put these barriers on many roads without any RED light/Blinkers on them,the driver can't see them from distance hence results in fatal accidents. more
