Trade Sanction on China. Increase tarrif just for 6 Months

Put trade sanction on china on immediate basis. Increase heavy tarrif on Chinese goods imports. The trade deficit is very high. China is earning very high from india and put money for terriorist activities from Pakistan. This will also help to boost our local industry. We are big market. Our small industry must get their good sold in our market, Not Chinese. Its very important to raise tarrif on Chinese goods import by 100%.
This is also put pressure on them. India is not going to digest conspiracy against our people. Be tough to take decisions in favour of our country like President trump do for USA. We don't have to cool and relax and tolerate anyone acting against us. Just do it for 6 months basis and lets see what's the implication on china. more

It is shocking that no concrete steps are being taken even as poor quality products are being imported from China. It should not be difficult for Government to exercise their power to influence importers. Social awareness may also help in reducing consumption of Chinese products. more
Business and Political nexus to be curbed more
To Mr Kochhar: Engineers are not necessarily good entrepreneurs as they go more into details within their own field. So the banks should not have refused the loan but rather looked at your business proposal and its viability critically and objectively. In my almost 50 years of career as engineer and engineering consultant, none of the successful entrepreneurs I came across were engineers but they knew how to manage the external environment to their advantage. more
I think we should proceed with caution and in a well-thought out manner instead of taking a haphazard decision. I think Government of India has done well to raise concerns on construction of CPEC road in Gilgit Baltistan ( illegally occupied territory) for which China is silent. How can they make an agreement with Pakistan on using a land which is illegally occupied by them? We have caught them where it hurts. more
America versus China and India versus China are two different stories. We should know our position and then only take drastic steps. more
I think our present PM is as naïve as the first PM (Mr Nehru) in that he seems to put of lot of faith in China. He doesn't seem to realise that they will stab us in the back sooner than later. ALL TRADE WITH CHINA MUST STOP. more
Govind all my life i have been in electronics i.e IT and Telecom and know all nitty gritties as i have been part of techno commercial team in my organization . and yes since 1947 it is so but when it is changing then also enggrs blame Modi , i would like to put it that i am BSC grad not engg. and 15 year sago when i approached banks for loan i was told that it is enggs and professionals who are preferred for loans tan us grads so how many enggs are actually entrepreneurs?? who take risk , i still have a few business ideas and i am working on them for finance, VC's and not just looking for a job that is what i am trying to put forward more
->Deeraj Kochaar: Well, India manufactures almost all electrical power products. As far as communication is concerned, the government never encouraged electronics manufacturing by having untenable duty structures.

For your information, it is not engineers who are at fault here. Indian entrepreneurs find it easy to import products than take the trouble to manufacture them here. For example, last month I purchased a vacuum cleaner bearing a well-known Indian brand name and was surprised to find that it was made in China 100%. There is a motor, a fan and a filter with a few plastic pieces all of which can be sourced in India. So blame these industrialists, not poor engineers who depend on a salary from these people.

And please think before commenting. more
well as an engineer how many products electrical, electronic , communication products are made in India , not even 5% . all industries have been using Chinese products since china open door policy in 1976 , if u stop imports all industries in India dies and the problem is with MODI ??? why as an engineer u r not making products in India instead running after chinese companies for big pay packet jobs ??? more
