TOOTHPASTE IS INDICATED on the COMPOSITION IF NATURAL, NATURAL + MEDICINE ,

,NATURAL + CHEMICAL OR ONLY CHEMICAL
Look at the Video I received recently in the Whats App .

And as a proof , the attached picture of 2 types of tooth paste I use , one for morning and another for the night .

The indications :
Black Bar : Chemical.
Red Bar : Chemical & Natural.
Blue Bar : Natural & Medicine .
Green Bar : Natural .

THIS IS JUST AN EXERCISE FOR US TO CHECK UP WHAT WE ARE USING AND WHY DO WE USE :

* Impressed by the Powerful advertisements ? - Mostly yes ?
* Recommended by Friends ?
* Impressed by sales Drives and free samples in the Shopping Malls ?
* Recommended by the Dental surgeon ?

Should we not know the Rationale for using something daily that we put first into our mouth , that it contacts sensitive tissues.

Very often we fuss a lot to take in some valuable medication in empty stomach saying it is not tasty , salty , bitter etc.

Every thing given in a tasty, colourful appearance will not be AMRUTH . more

Uniliver's ayush. Pictures of all sorts of herbs are printed on the tube. A Ayurvedic Sanskrit name is used - "ayush". But the colour brand is black. This surely for misleading the customer more
It is cheating and you made us aware of it more
Why colour coding for chemical, natural etc. Manufacturers use this allowed ruse to confuse customers, how many customers , even among the educated know the colour code. Colour code should be abolished and chemical, chemical and natural etc should be stated in words. Such coding should be used minimally and only if unavoidable. If computerizing requires such codes, govt should insist on indicating the matter in words in addition. Consumer Affairs Ministry should intervene. BIS should bring out a Standard spelling out the way such info should be displayed on products/ packing. more
I knew the meaning of Colour Code bar printed at the bottom of tube. Many educated consumers do not know the meaning which is nicely described by Daniel sir.
I feel sorry for the illiterate/ partly literate citizens who will not know the meaning throughout their life because it is never publicized in any print/audio/visual media. The consumer perception remains blurred while taking buying decision of any brand of toothpaste. I support the suggestion made by Ganesan Raman and request the concerned authorities to make corrections and make such clear declaration mandatory. Thanks all for opening this neglected issue which will help create awareness. more
Thanks Daniel Sir for making us aware more
Thanks for re-appraising. more
