To fight against Corona Virus,, Special Precaution
Dear Friends,, GEvng.. Its very important that while we bring vegitable s at home,, we are to use to bring in a bucket since easy to wash so as we avoid the spread of Corona virus.. Wash vegitable in the mixture of two liters water adding 10 gms normal salt,, juice of half lemon and only "One" gram Bleeching powder for 4-5 minutes.. Then wash with fresh water 2-3 times. And then dry up to use.. In my opinion,, its more advantageous to bring vegs in bucket rather then to bring in poly bags or bags.. I am sure,, U all shall agree.. Great regards.. Jai Hind.. Thank you Dr. Yadav , wew have been ahving a practice of soacking the vegetables even before the COVID19 for a different reson . To take away the pesticide content of the vegetables . Rinse the vegetables in normal water firt . Then soack in salt and Turmeric solution for 15/20 inutes , dry it on clothe before storing or using it . We follow the same pattenr now as both the salt and turmeric are said to be antiseptic also . more
Dear Dr. Yadav, While thanking you for your kind advice, May I seek ur opinion on what we have been doing for lost 40 days. We add sufficient quantity of dettol (may be around 20 to 30 ml in bucket (say around 6 to 10 litres) and thoroughly wash & leave them in morning sun ( we buy Vegetables between 6 & 7 A.M. due to Lock-down restrictions) for about 2 hours to dry up. After that only, they are taken inside home. Washing & Drying is in court yard. more

You are also right in suggesting the use of metal buckets instead of cloth bags for purchasing vegetables, etc as preliminary studies indicate that corona virus can survive longer on cloth surfaces as compared to many other materials.
