Not only in schools and colleges , All over india , the Dhaba, roadside stalls , at Railway stations, Bus stations , the sale of Samosa, kachori etc are rampant. Is there any one to check the quality of raw materials, Oil, cooking condition , water quality etc? Where is the Government? more  

FSSAI must insisted that all food packets should have a clear window in the plastic or polythene packing so that the consumer can see the status of the food inside. This should be applicable both in dry foods and liquid foods. Finally FSSAI need to have corruption less inspectors and their numbers be increased so that regular inspections be made. These inspectors have to ensure that the packing date and manufacturing date is in consonance with the actual movement of the material from the factory and not that they are printed in advance way ahead of their movement. =the industry printa a date way ahead of actual manufacturing and the inspector who is supposed to check all this and clear the consignment is sitting in the air conditioned guest house with a glass of liquor and hefty mementoes for his family. Unless we have spotless inspectors, things will not improve. if anyone wants industry to improve, then where will be the need of the Inspectors or the regulators. No FSSAI any more then. more
