If permitted, I would like to add some thing. Do not expect result over night. Yog is some thing which requires lot of patience. Longer it takes to get result, longer lasting are the result. Try to learn the language spoken by your body. Your body tells you lot of things but we do not understand. The day we start understanding what our body says, we will not make mistake of over exerting. more

Yoga is a communion of 2 practices. 1) Asnas i.e. postures for physical fitness and detoxification of body from toxic elements and 2) Meditation that works internally to make mind more pure and alert. Brain in which mind exists is the engine of the train called: body. To keep body healthy, its engine need to be kept in good condition. Thoughts and self-talk play a great role. Positive self-talk boosts inner energy and heals a person more than medicines and on the other hand negative self-talk destroys self -immunity. Good powerful books boost positive thinking and self-talk too. Listening and watching to videos by motivators in your own language too boosts the inner power. Yoga should be practice for healing the mind and body. But, some practice it without proper knowledge and it affects adversely on mind and body. BEWARE. more
