Tenure of Apartment's Association and action to be initiated if money is embezzled...
I am Dr. Sudhakar lving in my own apartment called Sri Sai apartments, located at Asmangadh, Moosarambagh.
The present association has been operating for several years especially the secretary has been with the association for the last more than 10 years. Accounts have not been shown since almost 6-7 years despite several requests. When asked he says we will show when we have time. The secretary spends money as its his own without taking consent from anyone in the pretext of some work which is not at all required. Under these circumstances if someone can be kind enough to throw light on what we can do to take action against the members of the present association and what legal action can be initiated. Can we file a criminal case against the association. If any advocate can come forward and help us we will be grateful. more

If the Registration by the Registrar of Societies ofc at Nilofur Hosp is not renewed but the committee continue to carry on with same appt holders or changing among three of them , what happens? Can a civil court entertain the complaint? more

Dear Doctor, if you have time and patience you can bring the change. First you obtain a copy of the Bye Laws of the Association from Registrar of Societies which is located near Neelofar Hospital. Then you give notice in writing to the secretary through your lawyer asking for copies of the audited accounts. Obviously there will be no reply and then you have to file a civil suit in the court for specific performance i.e. production of audited accounts by the Secretary in the court of law. IN this case, the registrar of societies is not having any role except registering the society. If you bring the anomalies to his/her notice they will do nothing. more
