Swachh Surveyor caught taking Rs 1.7L bribe from Aurangabad civic body.
A member of the Quality Council of India's (QCI) team, on a visit to Aurangabad for the Swachh Bharat Mission Survey , was arrested late on Saturday night from a top hotel while accepting a bribe of Rs 1.7 lakh from a Deputy Commissioner of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation. The bribe was for including the city in the top-20 list of the mission.
Even Swachh Bharat has become another avenue for corruption. Perhaps it is time now for Government to stop spending Tax payer's money on such Surveys and consider removing Swachh Bharat Cess. It will be more productive to create awareness on cleanliness.
As per photographs published in Times of India open defecation is taking place even now in Mumbai. more

Hello! MOHIT PANDE , Sir , Your Reports on Bribery-corruption & transparent latrining confirm the freedom struggle India waged in the then civilized World of the 20th Century some 70-years ago was 360-degrees-backward-poised and gone nugatory . Now , India has to forget the two cherished Mahatmas of traditions , namely , Mahatma Vidur of the Mahabharatam & Mahatma Gandhi of the Independence Fame . Credit should be given to the nascent Movements like swachh Bharat , Demonetisation & Beti-Bachao-Beti-Padhao-Yojana so that we will not lose the hard-earned Independence never ever . Children can be moulded for the sake of better future of India but grownup persons cannot be moulded creating objectionable social practices . Actually , India as the Modern India of the 21st Century , should ban the epical Ramayana & Mahabharata & Mahabhagavatham traditionalists along with their respected Mahatmas and launch new Modern Mahatma Glorification on the lines of the Swachh Bharat , Demonetisation & Beti-Bachao-Beti-Padhao Yojanas to give rise to better generations of Young Indians with bright future for Modern India . more

A land Surveyor and the Licenced Surveyor along-with the Tahsildar [ Mandal Revenue Officer ] were arrested while a bribe of 1.6 lakhs was caught while he accepted this money for changing the Government land in the name of a Private Party in A.P. State last fortnight . Resurvey and Settlement of land will bring in lakhs of Acres lf Lands to every State which are illegitimately in enjoyment even through such ill-full arrangements . more
