Surge Pricing by Ola and Uber is exploitation: Why CM is silent
Surge pricing is a cheap way of exploiting the consumers who need to travel in emergencies. Of late it is noticed, in Hyderabad, that Ola and Uber are indiscriminately jacking up their rates even up to 4 or 5 times the actual rate. It is the talk of the town that they have purchased the silence of the Chief Minister of Telangana and his family. As a conscientious citizen I look forward to an explanation from the CM. I also request the CM to completely ban surge pricing and adjust the rates of cabs uniformly and reasonably so that riders as well as the drivers are not put to loss or inconvenience. more

Surge pricing by Ola or any other transport vehicles is not to be allowed. The CM of Telangana should take immediate action to bring them to normal pricing system like other auto rikshas or taxis. more

Not only cabs all autorikshaws are operating on self declred /demanded fares .No Meter fares.100% looting compare them to other cities you will be ashamed to know that this state RTA and police traffic dept does not care for passengers .Such is their clout with authorities ,rowdism of auto drivers on insisting for demanded fare ! Who will bell this cat only cabs?why not common mans transport like auto must be reigned in ,people have lost hopes with only talk and promises. more

Definitely cab operators as also autos are exploiting.Once elected the rulers do not care for common people. It is the people who have to prepare the manifesto and ask the contestants to sign and elect those people who sign irrespective of party labels. With the present system of manipulation by parties the affairs will never improve. more

Yes it is true they are encashing commuters necesity and also they are offering pass which is no use . I personally observed even for the pass holders and non pass holders charging same rate. more

You are 100% right. Those cab operators are looting the commuters. Once I was coming from my daughter's house (Himayat Nagar) to my home at Trimulgherry and Uber demanded Rs.400.00 for 9.5 kms. The Telangana Govt. also take actions against the Auto Drivers, no one run the autos on Meter, its their wish that what they demand more
