Tax Tax and more tax; don't we have any other means to stop any malpractice? Taxes cannot stop anything but only will encourage gov. in habit of putting taxes on poor Indian. Don't we feel we have already enough taxes? This suggestion is indicator that we do not have any better brains in our country to solve our problems. more  

Tax enhancement on junk foods alone is not the solution. Children themselves should be exposed to ill effects of Junk foods through lectures / exhibitions / chapters in text books, etc. Parents are equally responsible for this menace as they themselves do not do away with junk food. How we expect children to be away ?? We have highly educated people to purchase and smoke cigarettes when there is a clear cut warning message (harmful to health) on each shop selling the tobacco based products. We are typically different in attitude when it comes to better health. Children will follow us or somebody else???
