Suggestion to DTH providers to make selection easy

Everyone is fuming over the new TRAI guidelines and the selection of the channel packs. Every consumer seems to be confused as to what and how to choose the packs/channels provided so as to minimise cost. I have Tatasky and am trying various combinations of Curated packs, FTH, individual channels etc. to see what works best. Every time I start on this, it confuses me more.
So, here is a suggestion to the DTH providers: 1. Customer selects the channels they wish to subscribe to 2. Based on the selection DTH provider selects the best possible combination in terms of cost and shows the detailed selection to the customer 3. Customer can then decide what is best for them. more

for viewing the channels I was viewing before, I now have to pay much more than what I was paying before. This new TRAI thing hasn't done anything good at all to the aam aadmi! TRAI should step in to reduce the monthly charges per channel especially for the HD channels and I&B ministry shall also instruct the telecasters to switch to the latest technology, to full HD and 4K resolution more
Yes, TRAI's policy has cheated the customers throughout the country. We are paying much more for same channels. Two suggestions: (1) NFC should be Rs 30 + 18%GST. Provide 5 free channels of DD. (2) Let customer choose any channel or package as he/she wants..... No restrictions... Let customer choose FTA or Paid channels and pay as per rates prescribed by TRAI.... more
Govt.is making a fool of us.The charges are higher for everyone compared to what it was.Govt.is just trying to take as much as possible from us.We should teach them a lesson during elections. more
My cable operator is ICC pvt. Ltd. I tried to inform them that I do not view 138 of the free channels given by them for Rs.130/= I view about 10 of the free channels - that is all- and I have taken 19 channels according to my likes. They insisted that either I take the free channels for Rs.130/- or if I dont, I still have to pay them Rs.130/- for the 25 DD channels which is compulsory by the government. I also have to pay for the pay channels and the NFC fee of Rs.40/- as HD channels are charged double. I already pay double the fees for an HD channel. I really do not know what to do, anyone advise me who I can complain to by email? The cable operators are thugs and will not budge an inch. more
