STOCK TAKING ON PERSONAL HYGIENE , DIET , EXERCISE , LOVING ONESELF DURING 4 WEEKS OF SHUT DOWN ,
We had to directly or indirectly follow Ida Keeling’s ( 99 yrs ), well tested Advise . As a result we have achieved the following .
# EATFOR NUTRITION NOT FOR TASTE :
* DIET : Real good home made food , we know the quality and the cleanliness of the ingredients and process of cooking.
# DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO :
* DOING "MUST DO THINGS" : Yes we didn’t deviate much going about loitering aimlessly .
EXERCISE – DON’T MISS IT DAILY :
* EXERCISE :Daily we were able to find a lot o time to do exercise in the compound / terrace / within the house .
* LOVE YOURSELF : Observing the above 3 we proved that we still love for ourselves.
Just take stock of the benefits accrued during this 4 weeks and also foresee to be added in the next 19days.
FRILLS IN LIFE : We stopped the visits to movies houses , Crowded Malls ,Big weddings , and gatherings , thereby stopped breathing infected and polluted air .
Alcohol was a” no no” right through , was the biggest saving . A well to do person about Rs. 6,000 this period. And a wage earner used to deprive his family and children of Rs. 150 / each day .The burden was on the wife to manage the house .
TRAVEL : Within city and to other parts of the state and nation . A retired person within city would have saved minimum Rs. 1,500 / to 2,000 on Fuel per month .
EATING OUT : Dinning out was ruled out . Ordering food is allowed though . Hope that is not increased to compensate the going out .
PERSONAL , FAMILY , COMMUNITY HYGIENE : People have become more aware of all the factors to keep away from disease.
LOVE YOURSELF, YOUR FAMILY , YOUR SUUROUNDINGS : Have become health conscious and what ever small space is available do some physical activity to keep he body fit . More time with Family and children. New friendship developed across the terrace .
