Stage 4 cancer

Dear Mr. Murthy Stage 4 cancer means it has spread to other organs/muscles etc and being an ovarian C is (deep inside the body,difficult to detect) difficult to treat. Her oncologist will tell you when palliative care. terminal treatment is to be given. That means there is no "comeback" and cancer treatment is stopped. Only symptomatic treat ment is given to make the patient comfortable ,if pain is there morphine us given so that last few days no pain, if fever occurs,or loose motions or constipation appropriate treatment for these symptoms is given. If breathing difficulty. Oxygen is given. I am a non- medico a trained volunteer of Indian Cancer Society Delhi. And president of Cancer Sahyog an emotional Support. Group of I.C.S. I will highly appreciate if you also give a few hours of free ser vice for this noble cause . She has taken 2 cycle of chemo and a surgery for the biopsy. Now again doctor saying to go for another round of chemo since ca125 reached at 4500...she is not in position to take any chemo...Pls suggest what to do. more
