Squeeze on input costs of restaurant

Commercial LPG cylinders hiked by Rs 100; 19-kg commercial will cost Rs 2,101 in Delhi and Rs 2,051 per cylinder in Mumbai. The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder saw a rise of Rs 266 on November 1.

We all know price of tomato and veggies. How can a restaurant business survivie without raising prices or cutting corners? more

All these prices increased after covid, making poor poorer. So, forget covid omicron etc. Go back to pre covid times.and everything will come down more

Restaurant business can increasingly consider depending on bio-gas plants. Cow-manure is a signifcant methane source, which can be used as fuel(Renewable natural gas-RNG). Methane use as fuel can thus reduce its release to atmosphere as it is a powerful greenhouse gas. Other option is to go for PNG (piped natural gas). Cost-benefit ratio can be explored by the respective restaurants. more  
Sale price of commercial LPG cylinder has been hiked steadily from Rs1473.50 (Rs77.55/kg) in June2021. LPG sold during this month was bought at a benchmark price of $489.21 a tonne in international market. This benchmark has risen to $841.33 a tonne, which has contributed in raising the price for India, which imports almost half of its requirements. Saudi Aramco is selling to India at this highest rate over the last four years. Government is citing a tight fiscal position for not disbursing any LPG subsidy in 2021-22. more
