Solutions to address Black Money menace:

1. Government should expedite working with the foreign Governments to get the black money stashed abroad to India.
2. Close monitoring of all charged individuals (and family members) in previous/current Governments to find black money trails
3. Use of cash in property transactions should be banned
4. A crackdown should be made on the educational institutions asking for donations and collecting cash
5. 500 and 1000 notes should be withdrawn from the market
6. Trim the protection given by law to prosecute the government officials & Politicians for corruption
7. Retrieve the buried black money by ‘voluntary disclosure systems’ so that it gets into accountable transactions
8. Installing CCTV cameras in all Central and State Government offices
9. Tenders/contracts should be allotted through a computerised process. This would decrease the human interactions and use of black money for bribing
10. Giving a printed invoice on purchase should be made mandatory
11. Disclosure of expenditure should be made mandatory during election campaigns
12. Government must encourage use of plastic money i.e.- credit cards & debit cards
13. An ‘Anti-Corruption Bureau’ both in Centre and ever State should be established which should be free from any political interference
14. A dedicated helpline should be created for people who want to inform about big ticket cash transactions and black money
15. A circle/group with anonymous yet accountable reporting should be created where any citizen can report about black money/scams
16. Money for elections to be provided by parties to their candidates more

Even after FOUR months competed from the last date for depositing old Currency into Reserve Banks , [1] Some are still in the business of exchanging their old notes at maximum discounted rates in Lakhs just because the Supreme Court in a PIL , directed the Government to extend time with due reasons for the delay . Even TREE MONTHS extended time from 1.1.17 to 31.3.17 is not sufficient in Indian Political Democracy . [2] The demand of Cash ion Lakhs for part of consideration of House / Flat purchase also is continued SINCE THE PROCESS OF LOCATING THE CONCEALED INCOME BY VARIOUS BANKS STILL INCOMPLETE AND there is no guarantee of possessing Bags of New Currency Bundles by those such manipulated in the Exchange Process . 3. Governments are allowing Cash instead of Cards for the PDS etc., items and this IS BECAUSE THE BUSINESSING SHOPS HAVE NO INTEREST IN PROVIDING CARD SWIPING MACHINES due to which there is protest from the public about Card system for them only to follow . This proves the challenges to the Governments in controlling the Black Money . It require strict regulations as were suggested in these circles for necessary reforms WHICH IS STILL PENDING WITH GOI AND RBI . more

Central to removing corruption, which originates to a large extent from government departments, is to set up a vigilance unit to carry out sting operations - this is a highly effective way to cut corruption in govt offices/police , etc. more
I have the following additional input for consideration against black money menace . No Citizen of India should create by way of buying /purchasing /transacting / constructing , after attainment of 60 years of age from his/her legal date of birth , any new immovable property ( STI-RASTI ) of House / Land / Factory / Gold / Silver . This measure will definitely expose black money strategists and locations like a security camera in working condition and gradually , will prevent proliferation of dynastic/ hereditary / legal heir supporting " dependency " / the native kandan-tendency black wealth . more
