Solutions to address Black Money menace:
1. Government should expedite working with the foreign Governments to get the black money stashed abroad to India.
2. Close monitoring of all charged individuals (and family members) in previous/current Governments to find black money trails
3. Use of cash in property transactions should be banned
4. A crackdown should be made on the educational institutions asking for donations and collecting cash
5. 500 and 1000 notes should be withdrawn from the market
6. Trim the protection given by law to prosecute the government officials & Politicians for corruption
7. Retrieve the buried black money by ‘voluntary disclosure systems’ so that it gets into accountable transactions
8. Installing CCTV cameras in all Central and State Government offices
9. Tenders/contracts should be allotted through a computerised process. This would decrease the human interactions and use of black money for bribing
10. Giving a printed invoice on purchase should be made mandatory
11. Disclosure of expenditure should be made mandatory during election campaigns
12. Government must encourage use of plastic money i.e.- credit cards & debit cards
13. An ‘Anti-Corruption Bureau’ both in Centre and ever State should be established which should be free from any political interference
14. A dedicated helpline should be created for people who want to inform about big ticket cash transactions and black money
15. A circle/group with anonymous yet accountable reporting should be created where any citizen can report about black money/scams
