Smoking and Weight Loss

I and my husband have talked about his multiple times. Does smoking reduce appetite and therefore result in weight maintenance/loss. that's his argument for not giving up smoking...Views from experts much appreciated. more  

There are better ways to reduce weight than smoking ( if at all it reduces appetite, I doubt ).Smoking has so many adverse effects on the body that it is advised to stop smoking as soon as possible so as to prevent damage to lungs, heart, etc.Weight can be reduced only by exercises and control on food portions, avoiding sweets, fried food, etc. more

I was a smoker for almost twenty Years and also gave my wife many such logics !! This is all made up and even your husband wont know any reason for it too. The only precaution you must keep in mind once he leaves smoking as I have .... habitual smokers when kick the habit feel hungry a lot more . They put on weight thus. so watch his calories and give him lots of low fat high Fibre stuff . Initial few days are tough then its all in control. best of Luck. more

Don't fall for this. He is just saying this to get u off his back. Smoking causes 100 times more negative effects than any "Good". All smokers will sooner or later go in for problems. So stop now while u still have the chance more
