Dear Sir, As every human being since birth knows how to do respiration, to do deep, long breathing is certainly possible for all. Pranayama with kumbhak and with recommended ratio of inhalation - exhalation may not be possible for small children. So do not force them. Only teach kids to do deep inhalation - exhalation.
