RBI has told Paytm Payments Bank to stop adding new customers with immediate effect. RBI has made certain observations about the process Paytm Payments Bank follows in acquiring new customers and its adherence to KYC norms.
Paytm being the first when demonetization happened made a lot of money during the time and continues to do so. Their claim of money back comes with a lot of conditions which the normal people do not qualify for. Its all tremor without any substance. more
The actual fact is that RBI found that some customers were depositing Rs one lakh and above in the PAYTM Bank, and that that money was being used to give "additional credit" and offering more discounts to those people. The rest of what you have all written the liability clause mentioned also, is standard to any contract with any bank also; YOU MUST NOTE THAT THIS CLAUSE HAS BEEN DECLARED AS NULL AND VOID in all transactions on the grounds of equity ( not shares), and that no one can sign away their rights, even in the case of commercial transactions. more
