SHOULD THERE BE A LAW TO BOOK THE FAMILY OF A CRIMINAL WHO COMMITS RAPE
Dear all i raise this question to you all and that is: 'Should the family of a rapist should also be made accountable in law to check this crime. I say this because that crook who commits such a barbaric crime has rights in property and all other assets of the family and all family members line up all these criminals and defend them at any cost. Why should the duty of a family end once an Animal type person who brutalizes a woman...all these family members specially parents are accountable for crimes committed by their 'AULAAD'........It is there duty to control these dogs and not leave them free else do not produce such rogues.......have your say because it is worth considering. more

Sir there is no promotional activity for rapes from society or from parents, a rape and a suicide is committed according to the individual Physiological aspects. I felt a lack of sex education and lagging practice of meditation concentration. So please avoid the above question. more

Dear Anil.....i never said any where that 'parents promote children to be rapists'......what i said and crux of that is .." Parents do not guide their children properly as that is their prime duty and if they fail to do so they are culpable and accountable for the misdeeds of their children"....please do not get emotional for nothing and re-read my take. When innocent parents of the girls being raped suffer in silence for whole of their lives why not the parents of a crook suffer more than the girl's parents. Ponder over.......Do you think the duty of parents is just to produce children and throw them to the environment to do what they please? I as a parent if ind my son not in my control will take all possible actions to cut him to size and if he is giving slightest of indication of being other side of the law....(leave alone rape) i will be the first person to get him booked properly......and will never support such an idiot........you got it now....to hnd him over to law in time is also a sacred duty of parents. more

Dear Colonel ji There is no second thought we should make efforts to stop rapes. But You are trying to express family trains the son to be a rapist. I am not ready to agree to this theory. According to me when a rape is committed by a person, not only the victim and its family which is in shock, the family of rapist is also in the same condition (social stigma). One makes any law if implementation is not proper it will remain in books only, as Mr. Kalpesh Doshi and Mr. Ramanuj stated one should correct the system to speed up the justice procedure. I personally promote to change the law that ârapist to be hanged till death in public. If anyone promotes âbachcha hai galati ho jata haiâ such parent also to be hanged till death in public along with rapistâ. more

COL. Dahiya's suggestion reflects abhorrence towards the crime as well as the criminal and needs support from all thinking people to eliminate the crime .In substance deterrent law is definitely required. To follow this suggestion in letter may involve amendment of many laws and deprivation of rights of innocent people and rejection of some well established principles of law and administration of justice .At the same time we may recollect certain mythological persons with blood relations as mentioned by Col. Dahiya namely Hiranyakashyap and Kansh .I .therefore support the spirit and suggest confiscation of the accused's share in the undivided property after trial and conviction by fast track courts . more
