Share positive news of recovered patients

So far,we have come across lots of negativity regarding Corona
Negativity reduces immunity to fight diseases
Negativity causes depression and anxiety

I was watching on TV about a 90 years old woman who is recovered from Corona
Like me,I am sure that others will also have lots to share, while taking precautions to avoid Every Contagious disease and other diseases common during summers and monsoons, specifically due to transmission by mosquitoes

Let's not be obsessed with Corona
Tuberculosis is as dangerous because people report late, refuse to accept reality, don't take medicine and make tuberculosis a Multi Drug Resistant illness
Despite cost of tuberculosis being less than 20 rupees, yes twenty rupees a day for 6 months along with routine diet minus fats and oils, restful life cure rate can be 100% after 6 months
But stigma is darker than kaajal
Kalank is darker than Kaajal

Let's not run away from harsh reality of illnesses during summers and monsoons
Be Corona conscious and not Corona obsessed
Start sharing positive news about recovered patients
Testing positive doesn't indicate disease positive
We carry intrinsic factors within our system to fight diseases
Intrinsic factors are our own Immunity
Extrinsic factors are the environment
Combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors causes diseases . more

धन्यवाद डाॅक्टर! We too seek the same. Really, need of the hour is to make people aware of the +ve news on everything. This will have positive impact on public mind & thereby the nation will be benefitted. more
Thank you Doctor for showing how positive approach can help overcome even the dreaded diseases. more
I am sure that each one of us as members of local Circle forum has lots of positive feedback regarding Corona
If people can't find positivity during miserable times, something is certainly wrong with them
No wonder that the Happiness Index of indians is at lower level, number 2 at bottom out of 130 countries and it means that there's only 2 countries which are more miserable than us
Fault finding in everyone?
Keep doing it. It's related to health and body
Carry on with negative feedback
Negative people suffer more from diseases than positive people
Positivity is winning and lockdown is partially going to be lifted ,while taking care and being more conscious of Spread of All Contagious diseases more
Especially to propagate this kind of thinking, I wish you to have a huge following who may carry this message further. more
I am so glad and happy to finally read a positive post when I open my phone and see only negative news. This kind of news only propagates fear, anxiety, depression etc in my mind and people's minds.

Thank you Doctor for sharing. Yes it's so true that nobody is projecting the recovery rate in the country. That in itself will give hope, gladness and strength that those people who had the virus are recovering. The mindset of the people are only to look at negativity.

I live alone, I am 57, and have been locked up from the time of lockdown and can you imagine the state I am in, fear, anxiety, mood swings, depression, feeling of hopelessness, no human touch, only sometimes my children call me, no exercise, no basic essentials as people in society don't bother about people like me.

This lockdown cannot be indefinite, we have to live with the virus till a vaccine or the virus disappears as it came. We cannot be locked down like this, it's killing people more than the virus. Of course the public has to take appropriate precautions while moving in public places. The government does not seem to take the advise of prominent doctors and advisers that further lockdown is not going to benefit.

I see even if one person tests positive in a colony, the state immediately makes the whole colony a containment zone. I have no idea why this is so. more
I am as happy as you are. Keep counting the blessings. I have a roof over my head. I can do online medical practice. I have lots of friends like you to stay connected. I have capabilities to ignore nasty people who have to comment just for the sake of creating contradictions
Pity them because they are not exposed to the Real World of death or diseases
Take care and stay blessed today and everyday more
TB can actually spread through all of the means mentioned here - kissing, sharing toothbrushes (though I wonder who would do it), handshakes etc. - if the patient is with 'active TB'. Please know that a vast majority of Indians carry TB virus within us - but it remains dormant. If at anytime a person's immunity weakens, the TB virus reactivates. A person with 'active' TB disease in the lungs can spread the germ. TB can infect body parts other than lungs also. People with dormant TB infection are not contagious, do not have any symptoms, and do not put their family, friends and co-workers at risk. It's very important to understand - this is very different from COVID-19. First - If a healthy person was to even touch a surface that has been touched by a Corona infected person, he can get infected. COVID virus stays on all types of surfaces for days together. Second - from the time that symptoms start to appear, it takes very few days for the infection to grow full scale. Deaths have been reported within just 3 to 5 days of initial symptoms. In case of TB, one gets much longer time.
It would be a folly to think, and propogate, that it's just another virus. When have you seen so many doctors and nurses getting infected and even dying while treating patients? When have you seen the healthworkers having to wear head to toe protective (and suffocating) gear for discharging their duties, and still getting infected? When have you seen the world's most advanced country USA feeling so helpless - losing over 1 lac people in the last 3 months?
And people dying of COVID are dying very lonely - almost like street dogs. Bodies are immediately wrapped in plastics, never to be opened again. Bodies are taken for creamation directly from hospitals, and in all probability - the near and dear ones are by that time in quarantine - with no shoulders to cry on.
Do not therefore make the mistake of being casual about it. Because of the size of our population, India is very far from the point of building herd immunity. Don't let the guard down. more
