Shahi Imam said that Chandni Chowk MLA asked for support. What is the truth ?

AAP leaders had clearly denied that nobody ever persuaded the honourable Shahi Imam Bukhari which led to his famous speech on the eve of Delhi Elections. Below interview feed of Shahi Imam says otherwise, what is the truth ? Watch his interview feed on YouTube at,

This is a good suggestion that once election campaigning stops, religious leaders also should be banned from making any speeches or issuing fatwas. more
On the ground fact once Fatwa is issued specially by an Imam then it becomes binding on all Muslim Individual and that looses the very importance of their own democracy. Hence issuing Fatwa at the time of election should be abolished and hence religious leaders should be banned from making any political statements. If they still want to make political statement then please ask them to join politics and resign from the post of religious leaders and let them become political leaders. more
Religious leaders have taken a lot of liberty since the Non-Secular BJP has taken over. And this is where India's democratic image is fading everywhere across the globe (leave aside what Obama tried to teach). Muslim leaders making abusive and strange speeches. Hindu leaders doing all sorts of communal and abusive speeches for election gains. Fatwa is a norm in Muslim community, which needs to be evaluated by an individual (Muslim) on his own. So we cannot blame Fatwa, but what is said is what creates trouble. more
Concerned is not Shahi Imam statement but the Fatwa issued which is against Democracy. Further who is Imam to tell the Muslims as to whom to vote or not. Are the muslims or public does not have enough brains to check as to who is good or who is bad. Actually the religious people should be banned from making any political statements. more
