Scrapping of Vehicle

I purchased Maruti Baleno 15 years ago. It ran only 78000 KM and was in excellant condition. After completion of 15 years I had to dispose it off. I am now a senior citizen. Do not have enough money to buy a car with similar features. I am at great loss and feel mentally disturbed. Now I had to depend on public transport. more

There is. NO provision to keep your car post 15 years in NCR. The sad part is that the Govt has not put any cap on number of cars that can be registered in NCR in a month/day/year. Why because they earn from new registration. Let’s say 20 new cars pollute as much as 1 old car even then there is no cap on registering new cars. If they are serious about controlling pollution they should also have a cap on registering new vehicles. The courts are also governments mouth piece. This 10 year old diesel vehicles and 15 years old petrol vehicles were banned more than 3 years ago can the NGT or any other govt body give us before and after data? Is the AQI good now in NCR P more
Like Mr Rajesh Kumar Jain's problem many of old age people has similar problem. It is compounded with poor public transport. Govt. should make the policy more friendly for senior citizen. more
