Vasant Vihar a premium Residential colony has become a dug out of illegal encroachments, Jhuggi Jhopri clusters, thefts, crime, rampaging cows on roads,overflowing illegal waste dumps.
It is Health & social emergency.

And if today its vasant vihar tomorrow its your colony.

Is Delhi Govt going to fix things or we take things in our own hands. Of course then we wouldnt want kejriwal ji at the helm. more

Shikha ji, you have forgotten one other nuisance, that is stray dogs...the centre wants strays to be pampered, the state govt has no idea what to do, and soon the place will be run over by strays... more

Ditto for GK-1,specially R block having small plots,where single unit kothies were built by Oficers,who dared to make a home in jungle called GK-1 during early sixties. Now this colony belongs to inheritors who are either lured by builders or cheated by lawyers to get hold of entire units of old rickety buildings. There are illegal floors in most of designer flats It is Difficult to educate gen next while living here. Educated People Prefer to Relocate or Become Loners or Mix up with Few Like Minded People who value Merits of Good Education as a Foundation for Life. 6 years of AAP,15 Years of Congress rule have made people Bold,Fearless as if there are No Government Rule Books. Wishing For Likes of Bulldozer Baba in Delhi more

Overall residential areas in Delhi are truly in bad shape. There is a loggerhead between CM &LG. Half of the time is wasted because of internal squabbles. false promise and commitment is the fashion of the time. So we have to experience such ill feted situation everywhere. more
