Road Safty

We should provide prompt medical help in case of road accidents and system should be in place to provide such help with in no time by keeping doctors and ambulances ready on the highways say after every 50-60 km. attached to a near by hospital.
Arrangements for removal of breakdown vehicals should also be in place on the high way to clear the high way of any obestacle with in no time.
Villages falling on the highways should be well seperated at safer distances from the high way with underground pass for crossings and seperate enty from the highway for the villages. Roads with in the village should also be raised to avoid stray animals from reaching the roads. more

I recently travelled from pondicherry to Chennai on the entire highway I didn't see accedent vehicles, nor vehicles that were punctured or broken down. Its a big surprise to me compared to condition of vehicles on roads in Maharashtra more

Dear Rajendra P Gupta, I attaching some photographs of my trip from ; 1. Mumbai - Ahmedabad & 2. Mumbai - Pune....fyi This is the traffic situation whereby truckers are driving in all lanes. There police monitoring of the highways nor proper signs restricting the truckers to single lanes only Once you pass Vadodra Shree Modi has made sure that these signs and good roads maintained but beyond that towards Maharashtra side there is total chaos with the result that a journey that would take much less time takes ages because of no proper regulations nor monitoring of this trucker's menace on the highways. fyi....and further necessary actions. 6 Attachments (Pictures) Preview attachment AMD 098.jpg [Image] Preview attachment AMD 092.jpg [Image] Preview attachment AMD 099.jpg [Image] Preview attachment AMD 105.jpg [Image] Preview attachment Pune 055.jpg [Image] Preview attachment Pune 056.jpg [Image] more
