Road Safety in India - Inputs on Issues
Dear Friends,
Many of our circle members had raised that this subject be reviewed in the circle and acted upon by the Government.
More than 1 million people in India have lost their lives to road accidents in the last decade. Statistics indicate one person dies in a road accident in India every four minutes.
Through this post, we request all members to outline key issues they have experienced/observed in regards to Road Safety.
Once we have listed the issues, we will do a Root Cause analysis followed by identification of Solutions to propose to the Government.

Indian attitude and culture needs to change. Awareness and education is a huge method to move forward to achieve this. But the problem is Indians have become too cynical and amoral to be of any good to anyone really. more
