I think on Finance Front Modi Govt has lost the Total Control. On one side Market is rising EXHORBITANTLY, where as Interest Rates on FDs for Senior Citizen has been curtailed or not increased. This is putting Non Pensioner Senior Citizens in very very difficult situation. Presently Govt is giving subsidies to 80 Crore People. Then they can give Subsidy to another 10 Crore Senior Citizens also who are Non Pensioners. more
Apparently the govt itself is busy finding out new ways to tax the common man- taxing prepared rotis, non branded rice etc. Where is the time to look at difficulties of the common man? more
Before commenting on the issue, I would like to request madam and other well wishing active members that the data presented should be clear and correct. The prices above are for packs containing more than one unit and there is no mention of number of units anywhere. The intention should be to present facts and not freighten with concoctions. Regarding the issue, to the best of my knowledge, Indian government doesn't interfere with pricing of any commodities and tries to regulate market conditions which in turn effects the prices. more
The price comparion given I believe is for the same pack size, at different times. Therefore price comparison is on equal conditions. more
Due to disturbances in import from China, the prices of bulk chemicals have increased manifold during the last 2 years. more
yes everything has increased and especially it has become very hard for senior citizens to survive with inflation so high and price of commodities reaching sky high and also with their meagre earnings only FD etc and. Only air which we breathe has not been taxed and it may not be long when the present govt will also do that more
